The Stroy of Mai Kamal Blind
74 year old Mai Kamal is blind. She has 4 sons and 2 daughters and has been a widow for 10 years. Her children help take care of her, and she is extremely vulnerable. Her shelter is almost complete. The family has been living together since the floods. Mai Kamal has stopped talking since the floods due to the trauma of being visually handicapped and dealing with the aftermath of the floods. With her shelter and latrine almost complete, her dependence on others will reduce drastically.
