The conflict in the federally Administered Tribal Agencies (FATA) Provision of technical support to the Project Partners in consortium lead by Plan Pakistan in responding to humanitarian needs in the priority areas of sanitation and hygiene in selected flood affected districts of Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunnkhawa Province, Pakistan
The primary objective of this agreement is to provide requisite technical support to the project in order to reach 0.700 million people (350,000 children, 154,000 women and 196,000 men) in four flood affected districts of Pakistan for safeguarding and protecting their health from water, sanitation and hygiene related diseases. Hygiene promotion and participatory and inclusive rural drainage system design and wastewater treatment in selected communities to ensure 100 % excreta free hands, drains and spaces UNICEF and UN-HABITAT agree that the interventions hence conceived would be collaboratively implemented by a consortium of partners lead by Plan Pakistan in coordination with district and provincial government line departments as well as with local communities. UNICEF and UN-HABITAT also agree that the partners of consortium would bring a diverse expertise in the field of water, sanitation and hygiene. UN-HABITAT will provide technical support to the consortium in finalizing the CLTS triggering tools, JEC material provision, mass media campaign material provision, design of other necessary components of the project and the requisite tools, monitoring evaluation and reporting.
